 Pastor Sharon hails from the state of Wisconsin, where
she attended college. She earned her
Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, and was
ordained in 1987. She lives in Redford,
MI with her three miniature Schnauzers. Sharon is a trained
labyrinth facilitator (certified through Veriditas, the labyrinth project
through Grace Episcopal Cathedral in San Francisco), introducing the labyrinth
as a tool for prayer and leading groups in labyrinth experiences. In addition to her interim work at Abiding Presence she is a doctoral
student in theology and religion at the University of Birmingham, England
(UK.) When she isn't in Rochester Hills,
she is probably at work on her dissertation.
In spare time Pr. Sharon enjoys fiber-arts (especially knitting),
reading, gardening and travel.
