As the New Year opens, please remember that we are always looking for new members. In the past few months, we have welcomed a couple new faces, and they have been a marvelous addition to the choir. If you are interested, please feel free to drop by rehearsal any Wednesday at 7:30, or drop us a note at aplc_music@sbcglobal.net .

Greetings and Happy (almost) Easter! Despite a brief hiatus over the last year or two, this year, the choir will once again be singing at the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services. We are so glad to have the opportunity to enrich these very important and moving evenings. We are especially excited to be offering several new pieces this season, including the traditional Quaker hymn “Followers of the Lamb” on Palm Sunday and the chilling Good Friday anthem “Thy Will Be Done” by Craig Courtney.

Also, I am still hoping to find some eager young singers out there who would be interested in starting an Abiding Presence Youth Choir. I’ve heard from a few families, and with just a couple more voices we can make this happen. Please let me know if your children are at all interested: aplc_music@sbcglobal.net .
