The Lutheran Church of the Abiding Presence
Caring For Others In Need

Abiding Presence is involved in numerous local, national and international service projects.

Locally we help serve meals at Baldwin Church and Center, hold blood drives for the Red Cross and prepare food baskets at Thanksgiving and baskets of Christmas presents through Neighborhood House.  We also provide financial assistance to Lighthouse, Baldwin Avenue Neighborhood House and Haven.  We have also helped build home's in Oakland County through Habitat For Humanity.

Our ministry is extended through Lutheran Social Services of Michigan and Lutheran World Relief with financial support raised from Hunger Banks, an Advent project and Equal Exchange.  We also participate in the annual CROP walk in Rochester to raise funds and awareness of hunger projects.

Internally, we use Telecare phone callers to regularly make contact with each Abiding Presence household.

Bob Bevier  is the coordinator for this ministry area.
