The Noisy Offering collected by our children during Worship adds up. $1211.71 has been collected from Jan 1, 2017 to Aug 31
In January our Faith Formation students voted to support global medical and health needs projects. The efforts of the children and the response by those who enjoy making that “joyful noise” will be divided and sent to ELCA Disaster Response for medical support and to Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem which provides needed medical care for Palestinian Christians. This hospital is supported by Lutheran World Federation. ELCA Disaster Response donations go 100% to the needs because administrative costs of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are funded by our churches nationwide and operate when and wherever needs arise.
Faith Formation students of all ages will be choosing the next area of need to support during this next week. Choices are:
1. Survival Kits for victims of disaster, war or conflict
2. Food and water for refugee families
3. School Supplies for children around the world whose families cannot afford to provide them.
Our Caring for Others and Faith Formation ministries are very proud of our children and thank our members for this ongoing way in which we share God’s love with our neighbors.
